The Labrador Retrievers are excellent house-dogs, but they do moult heavily. They do need regular exercise and something to occupy their minds or they can be destructive. They are, however, generally good tempered and non aggressive. As they tend to be very greedy, Labradors should not be over fed. The coat is short and dense, with a weather resistant undercoat. It is easily cared for, a good brush and rub down is often all that is required. Click here to see a book about this breed |
