The distinctive Bedlington Terrier was originally bred for poaching, and was also a great favourite with the miners. A great little terrier who looks like a lamb, but has the heart of a lion. His coat, which is thick and linty, stands well out from skin, but is not wiry. It will require trimming, but does not shed on furniture or clothes. Equally at home in town or country.
