The Hungarian Vizla is a medium sized gundog with a short, smooth, dense and slightly greasy coat needing little grooming other than a stroking with a grooming glove and occasional massage brushing.
It is lively, gentle-mannered and demonstratively affectionate.
It is easily trained, has gentle manners yet retains a protective instinct.
The Vizsla needs exercise and free galloping.
